This year’s conference offers you a wide range of educational sessions and more advanced courses than ever before. They run the gamut, from emerging therapies to new technologies, and from culturally appropriate educational interventions to shared decision-making.
We’ve also expanded our formats, giving you a variety of learning experiences. There will be debates for those of you who like controversy and “snap learning” micro-sessions for those with short attention spans. Meghan Jardine, MS, MBA, RD, CDE, LD, diabetes coordinator at Parkland Health and Hospital System, Dallas, shares how she networks with other diabetes educators and always learns ways to improve her practice. She will help give two presentations at AADE14 — “What Do Gut Bugs Have to Do with Obesity and Type 2 Diabetes” and “Nutrition Adequacy of Various Popular Diets.”
