We look forward to welcoming you to San Diego, also known as America’s Finest City, in the beautiful state of California. In addition to hosting all of you AADE all-stars this summer, our local major league baseball team, the San Diego Padres, has the special honor of hosting the Major League All-Star game at Petco Park. Petco Park is one of the most beautiful ballparks in America, and while the Padres will not be in town during your stay, you can take a tour of Petco Park. As you stay in this gorgeous place for our conference, you may want to check out some of the other all-star attractions in the area.
Great restaurants and craft beers can be found all over San Diego; however, a few popular places include the Gas Lamp District, Horton Plaza, Hillcrest, Sea Port Village, Little Italy, and Harbor Island which boasts stunning views of the San Diego skyline. Some historic landmarks that may pique your interest include the USS Midway (docked along the beautiful Embarcedero), Balboa Park, the Coronado Bridge, and the Cabrillo National Monument.

If you have the opportunity, some fun things might include a harbor cruise around the bay, the iconic San Diego Zoo (celebrating its 100th Anniversary), SeaWorld, and capturing a beautiful sunset along popular beaches such as Sunset Cliffs in Point Loma, La Jolla Cove, Windansea Beach, Pacific Beach, Crystal Pier, and Belmont Park in Mission Beach.
