The American Association of Diabetes Educators (AADE) Annual Meeting is the premier event for diabetes educators. AADE16 will allow you to connect, collaborate, and educate yourself and others about pressing diabetes-related issues.
The Annual Meeting Planning Committee invites you to submit a poster proposal to be considered for presentation in San Diego. Interactions with colleagues related to diabetes management and education are the cornerstone to building communications that allow all of us to provide better healthcare. Presenting at AADE16 is an excellent opportunity for you to share your knowledge, experiences, and expertise with the diabetes education community.
Diabetes educators touch patients at various points across the continuum of care: from diagnosis of prediabetes or diabetes, all the way through to treatment and advanced management. Diabetes educators use skills that are comprised of prevention, treatment and chronic disease management, as well as partnering with patients to enable them to achieve behavior change. Final poster proposal selections will be based on the quality, clarity of the submission, and topical relevance to the contemporary practice environment of today’s diabetes educator.
