Opening Session Gets Day Off to Positive Start

This morning’s General Session “Why Negativity Sticks and What to Do about It” in Exhibit Hall F will provide some key knowledge about how to ward off burnout, not only for yourself, but also for your patients. Join your colleagues at 7:30 am to hear Alison Ledgerwood, PhD, Associate Professor of Psychology, University of California, Davis, leverage recent research to help you understand some of the key psychological factors behind the burnout that educators and patients can both experience, and suggest some evidence-based coping strategies for combating burnout and promoting resilience.

Get your Tweets On!

Stop by Booth #1041 and fine tune your Twitter skills with a presentation on Twitter best practices and tips for better engaging with your patients at 12:30 pm.  If you are really ready to take your Tweets to the next level you can pick up some tips on how to grow your Twitter following and increase engagement with your Tweets in the advanced class starting at 2:45 pm. Both classes are supported by Johnson & Johnson Diabetes Institute (JJDI).
